Delta Plus Proto designs and assembles rugged off-grid LoRa mesh radios in Illinois, in enclosures made in the USA. The NPH-1 is a persistent Meshtastic node in a CNC-machined aluminum enclosure; the EDICT-HP is a 30 dBm (1 W) high-power mesh radio that runs on Baofeng UV-5R packs.

NPH-1 enclosures are CNC-machined from aluminum on our own equipment in Illinois. EDICT-HP shells are MJF Nylon 12 with aluminum plates, fully silicone potted. Every unit is assembled and tested in-house.

What is LoRa?
LoRa is a low-power wireless communication technology designed for long-range data transmission over sub-GHz frequencies. It keeps devices communicating where Wi-Fi or cellular signals are weak or unavailable.
What is Meshtastic?
Meshtastic is an open-source platform that enables encrypted text and GPS messaging over LoRa mesh networks without cell service. Each device relays messages for the others, creating a self-healing network that works in remote places, during emergencies, or anywhere normal communication fails.
Does it work with my phone?
Yes. Delta Plus Proto radios pair with iOS and Android phones and tablets, and with desktop and laptop computers. The Meshtastic apps let you send encrypted messages, share GPS locations and manage the network without specialized radio knowledge.
How long does the battery last?
The NPH-1 typically runs 2–4 weeks on a single charge, which suits emergency kits, extended deployments and long trips. The EDICT-HP runs on standard Baofeng UV-5R packs, so you can carry spares and hot-swap in the field.
