LoRa (Long Range) is a wireless communication technology designed for sending small amounts of data over very long distances while using extremely low power. It works on sub-GHz radio frequencies, allowing devices to communicate even in areas where WiFi or cellular signals are weak or unavailable. LoRa is ideal for sensors, trackers, and mesh networks.

Meshtastic is an open-source, long-range communication platform built on LoRa mesh networking.
